Wild Again was born from the teaming up of a professional gardener and wildlife photographer with an environmental scientist. Together we share a deep love of the natural world, and of the intangible magic of wild places.
We work with our clients to invite that magic in, weaving together human elements with ecosystem restoration and wildlife support.

Why it matters
In the UK, our gardens span an area over three times the size of all of our national nature reserves combined.
We all have the opportunity to become guardians of the natural world, leaders in saving our planet and our plant and wildlife communities.

Creating sanctuary
The time of the aggressively manicured, ecologically dead garden is over. We weave the human needs in a garden together with active restoration of native plant communities, wildlife habitat and water management.
Rewilding the human
We have lost so much of our connection to the natural world, of which we are a part. Once that connection sparks again, it's like a path we can't stop running down — it's like running home.
Climate crisis resilience
We are not helpless. Clever rainwater management, active soil restoration, resilient planting and food growing methods are just some of the tools we have available to us, and we consider them in every design.

Natural swimming & water features
The single most impactful thing we can introduce into a garden from nature's perspective is water. Wildlife ponds, streams and waterfalls, plunge pools and natural swimming ponds.
Ecological structures & boundaries
Heritage techniques that maximise beauty, longevity and opportunity for wildlife. Woven willow fences and structures, drystone walls, retaining walls and seating areas.

Working with both David and Abigail has been an inspiring experience. They have created a garden from a blank canvas providing us with a landscape of which we had no previous conception.
I didn't know that I wanted a pond. In fact, on the day I met David I listed filling in the pond as one of the many jobs I required. He gave me a quote, then a couple of days later he popped round and suggested an alternative. The rest, as they say, is history.
I now have a beautiful wildlife pond with a bespoke, hand-made woven willow fence to make it safe when my three year old granddaughter visits. I can't recommend Wild Again Gardens enough.
